Housing

As a student at the University of Westminster, you will live in one of several London residence halls. The residence halls are situated within a half hour of the University campuses and London’s public transportation system allows for an easy commute to the campus. Each of the residence halls offers students a spacious common room, complete with a television, and each student will have their own bedroom with a washbasin, desk, chair, and a wardrobe in it. Bathrooms and kitchen areas will be shared by other residents in the dormitories. Bed linens, towels, toiletries, and kitchenware are not provided; we recommend waiting until after arriving in London to purchase these items in order to find reasonably priced bedding/toiletries in the local shops, and to share the cost of kitchenware with other students living in the residence hall.

No matter which residence hall you are living in, each is closely located to famous sites throughout London, whether it be Highgate Cemetery and the grave of Karl Marx, the Imperial War Museum, the London Eye, or the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace. All of the residence halls are near supermarkets, shops, and pubs which allow you to discover what the city of London has to offer. And all of them give you the opportunity to meet students from different cultures and countries across the world, which will only enhance your study abroad experience!
